I know of about 6, most say they are going to fix one day and won't sell and 1 is a 72 one owner car, garage kept V8 car and her grandson said he has no intentions of doing anything with it but his kids won't let him sell because they remember riding in it. I first found the car when garage door was open in NW Georgia, came up missing and the car is now under a lean to shed at grandsons in Alabama, go by and see if it's there every time I am up that way and contact him every 6 months just to say hello and let him know I'm still interested. Here is pic of her letting me see the car. She just turned 90.

There's a few. One is a black 77 with a 351W and a C4 which I remember seeing around town back in it's hey-day, and I also know where MY old car is. I've heard vague stories of the whereabouts of a one-owner green, small-bumpered 2dr, but I have to do some more detective work without letting on that I'm too interested, or my source may just beat me to it. They are certainly getting harder and harder to find around these parts...

Other than the 7 I own, I don't know of any others. There was a couple I last saw about a year ago that were driving a rough 74 Comet. They had been driving it for several years. Other than a possible 71 Comet GT I use to know about (but I have not gone and looked in awhile) that's it.

I know where 5 are just sitting around me (4 if you don't count mine atm) 1 is behind a closed up auto repair shop and I have to drive by it every day watching it rust up. I wish I had the capacity to make an offer on it, I need to kill a mav for my comet.

Only know of one around here and its a 71 grabber, the guy wanted to sell it but apparently not to me because he never would call me back. Dont know much more about it except that it's killing me to see the roof rotting off under that tarp

Also there is a Comet GT Stabber, last I heard he put a Maverick front end on it. Still sitting covered up from what I'm told. And in Centre, Al. There is a blue 72 Comet GT just sitting in the weather, tried to buy it about 4 years ago and of course it too still sits there.

I see a white small bumper Comet GT next to a barn in my travels. I often think about stopping in to ask about it but the property flat out scares me - I would be hoping to get back out alive :biglaugh:
