I painted my hood scoop inserts black and then went to a local cruise-in.

Stuck some stickers on the back window. No, I didn't install anything from Jegs, I was just tired of looking at the sticker sitting on my dresser. I also stuck the vintage KISM radio sticker on there.

Finally got it out of storage with the weather in the 80s and 90s and took it for a cruise and let it legs stretch out :drive:, I forgot how good it feels to get the motor running and head out on the highway. Took it home and gave it a bath and fresh coat of wax and getting it ready for local car show this weekend.

A couple more months and we will be heading to Ohio for the Gathering

That is something I've been meaning to do because mine are so faded. Thanks for the reminder!!

I taped mine up this morning and got them done. Turned out great.

Took off my hubcaps and painted my steelies flat black, and then installed beauty rings. The picture doesn't do it justice, it does look better in person. I want to paint over the white line tires with red tire paint as well and find some center caps for it.

Started the mav for the first time... Sounds strong and only had one leak, had to tighten the clamp on the fuel hose... I still need to put a timing light on it, but stabbing the dizzy in at 10* BTDC let it fire right up with just one squirt of gas in the carb... The flex-a-lite fan works great as soon as it hit 185* I set the thermostat and now as soon as it reaches 185* the fan turns on...

Picked up Loraine`s New 19 gallon gas tank from the fabricators shop from having the fill tube hump Centered. Now I need to coat the inside of it and put it up with the rest of her new parts collection.
