    Really, don't forget to mark the orientation of the connector, it's fairly important to put it on in the same position it was taken off for balance reasons.

    Or so I've been told.

    Tie it up with rope, a strap or wire.... or 300 zip ties.

    Remove driveshaft and duct tape a plastic around the tail housing. If your driveshaft falls it would be toast

    Leaving a manual transmission in neutral would be fine for a cross - town move, but any further can do damage. The main shaft turns with the driveshaft, but gets no oil since the counter shaft is not turning.

    Make sure you duct tape or electrical tape the ends of your U-Joint so the needle bearings don't fall out....
