if you look closely the 454 in the chevelle had aluminum heads, I also find it funny that they used stock stamped rocker arms when they put the edelbrock heads on the vette. It's a good show for laughs and that's it.

My biggest issue with the Chevelle is that they completely molested a numbers matching ss! What a waste, the could have found a clone or non matching (my dad has the exact same car without matching#'s he would have traded straight across...) and then done the same mods (or more...)
They also could have gone faster with less weight (passenger and driver)

    Monday night @ 10 east

I am looking forward to the mav episode.

    Agreed...

Hell my Trick Flow headed 3750Lb with driver, 5.0 T-Bird would run low 13s(13.11@105 best) on drag radials... It only had 2600 stall & stock(for ex Turbo Coupe)3.73 gears... Maybe $6500 in car including purchase in '97...

With a 75 shot it went 12.23@112, with a 150 shot the DRs couldn't hold it...

Dave; they had one....called OverHaulin'. Foose is a true car guy, and it was as close as I've seen to a really good resto show.:)

1/2way through the show and like 2 mins of mav time.... Unsure why they pulled the motor...and is that a new tci c4...

End of show, more screen time would have been nice, front lights looked off to me.

Slow motion at end made me throw up a little....

Show is pretty bad IMO. The paint looked nice, but those extra lights :coco::disagree: Looked like it was a factory Grabber too.

I would not let them touch my car. I was pretty disappointefd how it turned out. It looks like they cut a ton of corners. The tail lights hang below the lip of the tail pan. I was hoping for something more impressive.

The lights in the grille are hideous. I have no idea what they were thinking.

All the "saving money" they do is just making the experience worse and worse for me. I don't blame the owner(s) for redoing the car. It would be interesting if they posted in this thread.

I just heard Tommy say 427 small block...didn't know those existed...

We all knew what was going to happen when they only had 10 days to do it, I dont know how he got 500 hp out of a rebuild with Edelbrock heads, must have been the big headers :biglaugh:

Makes you wonder how much money they get from production company for televising it

427 small blocks do exist, they're 351w based. Anybody else notice the dent in the tail paint after it was painted.

Just part way into it on DVR and here's some observations, on the Mustang they were at 7k and 9k so they met in the middle at 8,500?:hmmm: As they started showing the Maverick they cruise the body and then show an unknown, presumably 50's car instrument panel. And how about the 300 Shelby Mavericks produced in Mexico? Shows how ignorant the general public is about cars that they buy into this crap and keep tuning in.

I didn't notice the dent, but I've learned a bit from this episode/thread.
