Hi. New member looking for information on the hose setup and routes for the heater control valve of a 74 302 with ac car. The old valve was bypassed but I have a nos one to replace. The hoses are currently routed from water pump and back to manifold. Pictures would be great otherwise a description would be great too! Im guessing three hoses and I think I know which direction to what outlet but want to be sure. The hose you see joined in the pic under the valve is the only hose in op. From engine back to engine and not attached to heater valve or core. Thanks in advance. Scott.

My 75 is a bit different valve but, it comes from the heater core - to the valve - to the water pump. The other hose from the heater core goes to an elbow on the intake manifold just behind the thermostat housing.

Ahhh yeess! Amazing on two fronts. I did it correctly as per your photo before my post as a guess (educated not) and I didn't break anything. My wife is impressed!
