brought my comet gt home after a good three week trip to my buddies place for a transmission swap.
thanks to my friend john letting me and mike use his lift and tools changing the transmission wasnt too big of a deal.
we swapped the stock c4 for one rebuilt with a stage 3 shift kick and a 2500 stall converter.
next is the rear end swap. that should be coming in the next couple of weeks.
I finally got the rest of the money I needed thanks to a few parts selling.:bananaman:

spent about 4 hrs. and 100 trips up/down a 15 ft. ladder yesterday washing the ceiling in my shop. about a third of it to go...the new...roof over roof... we installed a few months back sure is nice. temp was 95+ and even up in the high part the ceiling wasn't hot enough to make me sweat...floor fan on low speed...:thumbs2:

    Frank ,
did you paint you rad, black and carbon fiber rap the shroud? I was thinking of adding a shroud too, wanted to see what temps got up to at idle . I was thinking of blacking out the front of the rad with flat black paint.

be carful on the ladder, that sudden:eek: stop at the bottom hurts. been there, done that, and cried.

Bought a Sears cruise control off ebay and installed it....I'm gettin lazy in my old age.

    Remote door and trunk locks
    Power windows
    Power steering
    Rear defroster and defogger
    4 speed overdrive
    Nice 4 speaker stereo
And once I get the AC hooked back up the only thing it won't have is power brakes (but i don't think i need those with a stick anyhow)
