    I would recommend a heat gun from harbor Freight and not a hair dryer. Set it on low when using.

    Did you get the wrinkles pulled out first. I installed headliners before and had to re glue them after stertching them a 2nd and 3rd time to get it wrinkle free. It is not easy.

    Put together a New Big Sand Blasting cabinet. It took all day. Now I can blast and paint a lot of Mabel's pieces and parts.
    Worked on polishing her center line wheels and sand blasted some larger parts outside.

    Put the car up on stands and was feeling pretty good about starting on the undercoating removal and floor pan repair. As I was reviewing the mess I was about to dive into, I leaned on the radiator support and the car rocked. Well crap I thought, must not have one stand set properly, wrong, all were set the same. That sent me on a fact finding mission to determine if the car was twisted. I fiddled around for a few hours with levels and an angle gauge, resetting the stands and rechecking the car. After all of that the car seems to be OK, it looks like the combination of inexpensive stands and a not so flat floor ate up the better part of my afternoon.

    My headliner was perfectly fine using a hairdryer. Got the wrinkles out and looked great. I got enough heat out of it and didn't have to buy a heat gun. Worst case scenario is its not enough heat, just make sure you pull in all angles.

    FINALLY DID STUFF TO IT! not really...just got stuff for it, lol. New Drag slicks & rims (so beautiful) and a disc brake package for the rear end...4wheel disc now :)

    I let my local ford dealer change the oil in mine.. They liked it, but there computer system wouldn't recognize the vin #..lol

    I dropped my car off at Action Race Products (Jack Arbonovich's ) shop this past Sunday for him to do the shock tower notch, install my sub frame connectors, rack and pinion steering unit and the Cal Tracs for me. Once its done I bring it back home to repaint all of the areas where he had to weld. Looking forward to getting it back home. I just hope my Crites Headers clear the rack and pinion unit. The garage looks empty now with it gone. It had been sitting in there for over 5 years while we worked on it off and on. We are finally getting somewhere now. I hope to have it running by Spring, then off to the paint shop.

    Sand blasted and Re-painted my backing plates cast metallic....black just didn't look good enough! excited to get the rear disc's on this thing.
