    Done to perfection! ... the peak of the front bumper is just a bit forward of the peak of the hood. I think that what really strikes me is that the upper ridge on the bumper mirrors the hood trim, parallel to the slant of the grille. I will bet you mocked this up several times to hit this.

    Great stance on the car, too.

    I would have liked to keep it looking like a 73 but i order to compete in Good Guys autocross i had to make it look like a 72 or earlier.
    I just wish i could get the thing finished. It has been a real pain in the @$$.

    No difference in the 1973 bumpers.

    How and where it mounts is slightly different.

    I don't know what the tuck is. I just played with it until I thought looked good.
    To me the perfect 73 bumper would be to shorten the sides up about 1 or 2 inches.

    Agreed, but it would be a hard job, and risky since it could ruin your bumper should you fail.:nailbiting:

    If you were going to rechrome the bumper, shortening should be part of that drill ... you would probably have to section a piece out and weld the end back on to retain the correct curves where it is closest to the parking light. Cutting the heads off the bumper bolts and welding that square section of the bolt to the bumper to give it a smoothed look is something I have considered if I get a bumper replated too. The hitch with that is you may need to slot one of the bracket holes, and add a washer, in order to mount it back on the car.
