    Bash, bash, bash... ;)

Experience or not, it's far rustier than I'd ever consider doing even a moderate resto on...

If you stop the rust from getting worse, the patched floors will last for a long time... My 74 was patched with fiberglass mat and rust bullet and when I sold it 7 years later the floors still felt solid....

Nice work Don! If you decide to work on the floors or those rusty torque boxes give me a call and I'll give you a hand1 before you do any cutting or grinding cover that headliner and glass with some heavy paper and you'll be fine. I didn't and now I have pitting on my windshield!

My 74, has had a piece of 1/4" plywood under the carpet for years, it's actually still there. I took it to a shop once for something, and the guy asked me if I knew.

I love the headliner. I am moving toward a white interior in my Comet (see attached). Is the headliner dyed or did you order it that color? If you did order it, from where?

I ordered it that color. I got it offf ebay from a company in California, the name escapes me. The quality seems good and it fit well. My only complaint is that the ad said tier grain and I got moon crater.

Everything is done inside the car, just waiting on the seats to be done. I think I bought just about every interior part available. I replaced the headlight switch, dimmer switch, all bulbs, heater core and made sure everything worked properly. 20141228_175502.jpg 20150103_143559.jpg 20150103_144544.jpg 20150103_152537.jpg 20150122_141540.jpg 20150205_162544.jpg 20150205_162557.jpg 20150205_162625.jpg 20150205_162632.jpg

Yes it is one piece. I got it from ACC. There was very little trimming. I had 6 tiny scraps that fit in the palm of my hand.
