Agreed, I am reaching that point with my dad too. He hasn't been kind to his body and it's catching up with him in a hurry.

Installed my new gas tank and started hanging my new leaf springs. Couldn't finish the leafs because when I ordered my leafs, I also ordered shackle kits from Laurel Mountain Mustang, but they shipped "65-73 Mustang Kits" instead of the "Maverick Kits" they invoiced me for... :(

Yeah, Mavdog, I am living here with him taking care of him. He is quite a guy. He is hanging in there, just getting weaker and smaller every day.

I did door panels today too! Painted the metal parts, cleaned up the vinyl parts, installed new window cranks and door lock buttons.

Fired up the 408 this afternoon, big difference in the way it runs now, sounds like it has power, checked for leaks, checked vacuum at the manifold and it was fairly steady at 15 in.hg moved around the distributor a bit and found it was best where it was, got a few valves that might need a slight adjustment but not bad at all :yahoo: now to get some more GM Synchromesh for the TREMEC and I am all set.

A week or two ago I was looking around under the front of the Comet and I noticed that one end of the sway bar was not connected, the link was missing, and the bushings on the other link were shot. So I ordered a new pair from Auto Krafters. Got the chance to install them today and what a difference that makes in the way the car feels. Much less body roll now and it was a cheap fix too!

After having the 74 wrecked and in storage for the past few years out of disgust, I decided to start working on the 70 in the garage. Charged the battery in the 74 and pulled it into the garage (almost cried when I looked at the damage again). Ordered some parts for the 70. Once I get organized I will start a build thread.

Installed my new HD belly bar from TOPRANGER. It is a very good fit easy to install and great instructions.
