71gold were they draglites, those are the only ones that I know that have the floating spacer in them. Most big name tire shops should have a setup for lug centric balancing instead of a cone they use what looks like a hub with special looking studs that hold the wheel on the outside of the rim.

1 piece 2 piece and 3 piece are usually bolted together and really just make it easier to repair, when damaged can replace just one piece or you can change the offset/width by changing parts. also they are generally lighter

the thing is, even after...lug centric balancing...the center flops around until you mount the rim on the car then it's out of balance again...at least mine were.
lug centric balancing...is more for rims that have wired wheel centers that the regular cone can't center the rim on the balancer.
    the before and after...
    before was steel...after is aluminum.

The mustang wheels are 17x8, and the tires are uniroyal tiger paws, 225/50R17's. But I have decided to use the cragers, they are 15x7's and the NEW tires are 215/65R15's and are Cooper Cobra Radial GT's, dont have the updated pic yet. The above pic has the cragars from my 65 Fairlane on it.

My favorite drag Maverick look. I think the old school Americans would look good and I think your car looks great with the Mustang wheels. These would keep that look and give you the ride you are after.

Maverick7072, I had Americans on my '57. Got a lot of good comments on it.

    Maverick7072,

If you need additional 200s wheels with natural cast spokes let me know. I have a pair of 8" x 15" and a pair of 10" x 15" that were on my '76 F100 - same bolt pattern as your '58. I bought them back in '79 when I first got that truck. I also have a pair of custom made 14" x 15" CP200 wheels for that bolt pattern. (We took the leaf springs off of the outside of the frame rails, built a cross member for coil springs and after extending the wheel tub of the step side bed in mounted the wheels and Fat Mickeys.)

Just put a set of American Racing Torque Thrust 'D' wheels on our Comet GT today. They are 15 x 4.5 and 15 x 7 with 165/80/15's and 255/60/15's.
