I have an ac dash and some one had ripped out all the air duct before i got the car and now i would like to fill the gap in the middle of my dash, i was thinking of running a set of gauges in their and was wondering if anyone had tried this before thanks

I had the same thing in my Maverick. I removed the plastic material inside the vent housing and I bought one of those 3 gauge sets. The metal gauge housing fit perfect inside the vent...... image.jpg

I had the same problem when I bought mine. I installed my aftermarket stereo in The dash vent location and installed the 3 gauges into the stereo delete plate. I'll go take pics when the rain subsides.

Sorry to bump this old post, but does anyone know where Mr SkyDog got that 3 gauge holder for the center vent? I want to buy one! Thanks

Looks like PVC pipe painted black and JB-welded into the stock vent surround (the vent with the grill cut out).
