Does AK still sell the complete kit? I looked online but found their web site hard to navigate and my catalog is about 5 years old. That used to be the cheapest way to get it all. If there were pieces in the kit not needed they could be sold in the classifieds easy enough. Did that with several cars.

    Melvins maybe?

The roof-rail weather strip just plain sucks, and since only one company makes it, we're pretty much screwed. The trunk seal is just fine, but you have to poke holes in it like the original has (which I didn't know when I installed mine).

I hope that someday, someone makes the roof-rail strip the same as the OEM strip. I get tired of having to slam the doors every time.

AK catalog still has the complete set, I remember seeing it in the 2014 for sure and pretty sure it was in the newest one also. But that is definitely the cheapest way to go!

I agree on the roof-rail weatherstripping. The holes for the retainer clips has already ripped open like wet newspaper and the weatherstripping wasn't a year old. I didn't have a problem with the trunk weatherstripping. Maybe it was because I installed and adjusted the trunk lid the day I installed the weatherstripping.

I bought my roof rail weather strips from steel rubber products, they fit perfect and still look good 5 years later...

My roof rail weather strip from AK seems to work fine and fit well. My drivers door is really hard to shut though.

We had a similar problem with the rubber weatherstrip staying in place.. We bought 3M super weatherstrip adhesive and installed the rubbers with the adhesive under the rubber ...Let everything set up allowing for drying time .. and
haven't had any issues since.. that's been over a year now and everything is still intact. A footnote , we roughed up the
surface of the areas directly beneath the seal before applying the adhesive. It seems to hold better. Hope this helps.

Same thing on my car. You would have thought it was tack welded in place.
