Put the 77 Maverick back on the road after sitting over 7 years. During that time I did a small bumper conversion on it. I had the bumpers rechromed by Tri-City Plating in TN, look great. I still need a few minor parts to complete the conversion. I also sold my 70 Maverick, had it since 1999 . Fred DSCN1175.JPG 1970 Maverick 1.jpg

When I bought the car I added bucket seats, new cloth inserts in the rear seat, reupholstered the front seats, new carpet and recovered the dash pad. Both sides of the car had been repainted, didn't match. I repaired the passenger front fender and notched both for the bumper conversion. I matched the new paint on the quarter extensions, valance panels and fenders to the original paint. Hood, trunk, roof ,door jambs and engine compartment are still original paint. This winter I hope to repaint the doors and quarters to match the original. Fred 77 Maverick front seats.JPG 77 Maverick rear seat.JPG

Nice job Fred! I should have did my seats w/ cushion & backrest entirely in cloth. I had you do just the center sections of the cushion/backrest cloth ... grey/blk vinyl. Happy w/ what I have, but, looking at yours wud go that route if I were to do it again.
