    The Aerostar fits the bill but I'm not sure the parts would be up to task for any horsepower.

    We used to use the old 60 s early 70s small bronco works great and if you do a good job it turns out great.fits perfectly

    I'd love to see something like this happen! My only "request" would be to NOT use a mint-condition low mileage car to do so... unless it's a Comet (j/k) :hide:

    Ford built some all weel drive Aerostars... I don't know much about them other than the 3.0 and/or 4.0 V6 were only engine options... Block bolt pattern is unique to those engines...

    very cool combo and I found this vid after looking through his other channel vid's and getting more similar hits in youtube. BIG BUCKS!



    Imagine the press you'd get doing similar mod's to a Maverick, eh? But doing it right with a twin turbo Windsor stroker of course. :thumbs2:

    Early (1996-99) Mercury Mountaineers were 5.0l with AWD transfer cases.
