Here's some videos, that'll give you some ideas http://www.streetortrack.com/Street-or-Track-Adjustable-Strut-Rods-pr-16135.html
thanks for the link. I see where the advantage of a set of the struts. I am thinking abt get a set; I have contacted to vendor with some questions on the product.
$400 is a bit pricey for a set of strut rods. I'd rather put that money toward a complete coil-over front suspension. The stock rods with new bushings are plenty adequate for normal driving. If you're going racing, you're going to want a better suspension system anyway rather than trying to make the old set-up perform to 21st century standards.
Most complete coil over suspension, come with adjustable strut rods. Reinforced upper and, lower control arms, roller perches, good shocks and spring, and adjustable strut rods, are more than enough for most people. Tubular control arms just add weight to the car.
Thanks for the videos. I had no idea that the rubber bushing on the strut rods moved so much. Has anyone installed the rods from PTP Engineering? Thanks, Joe
I believe Ed (rotorr22) installed a set, you can contact him through forum's conversation....... David
