ive been looking all over the web at several different options from the m2 kits to the strut kits and Im just not sure whats best for street strip.
Im guessing Ill land in the 9 second range maybe 10 for the 1/4 mile I havent gotten everything figured out just yet other than the engine and the hp its going to produce. . I want to go to a full tubular chassis at some point

I have been stacking some money aside and I recently sold some parts and now I want to work on the front suspension so everything up front can be done

if I go with a strut set up I want to delete the shock towers so I will need one of those front end roll bar set ups. I dont know what theyre called yet.

the goal for the car is to cruise it whenever and wherever I want but be able to tear down the track should I want
oh and I want power steering. but I dont think I want a power assist system under my car.
am I asking for too much?

this is for my 72 comet IMG_20150626_095440.jpg

Has anyone done a cost comparison between the R&C 107 and the AJE Colt 65? They have to be pretty close. I would think the AJE would be a lighter system and better for strip duties. Both should work great for cruising.

I contemplated the R&C when I started gathering info to do a 521 swap but lost interest when my health went. By all accounts, the R&C specked out good and build quality was excellent. Sorry I can't be of more help.

I think you're right about all that, Chris.

I would think a high caliber bullet like Junria's future 1,000 horse engine would be best suited to whatever is easiest and cheapest for him to do. There's just going to be so much power there that it won't make much damned difference anyways.. unless of course all he does is hunt for ET's with it.
