Bought these on eBay and seller told me they're regular extensions that are used w/o a spoiler. I'm not fussing since I bought them for a reasonable price, but does anyone have any comments? That's all the info the seller messaged me. Thanks!

I bought throttle linkage for my 64 Fairlane from an eBay seller who listed it as Maverick. I saw these yesterday. I think you did good !

Do you think they are quarter extensions for a spoiler ?

Those are the early Grabber extensions.

Those are just typical quarter extensions. Non grabber...

They look like the ones used with a spoiler. Am I wrong?

Look at the 3rd picture, you can see the tops are flat.

the pic angles aren't too great.. but that little "bulge" right above where the trim curves around the inside corners sure looks like a grabber version to me. One of the pics shows an upswept angle whereas the other angle just obscures it more.

Main reason I say that is because my Comet end caps don't have that and quick searches around the net shows only the grabbers have that little protrusion/looks like a bigger dimple.

They are definitely grabber end caps. If your disappointed I'd trade you a for a pair of non grabber ones!
