    Is there a nice looking door edge trim? I know this will happen again with these long doors. I was hoping someone like rhino liner did it so it was clean. Black might be acceptable.

    Just Say No.....to door edge guards. In my opinion....they look like something from Kmart.

    Oh man, sick for you. What happened? Can your paint shop give you some touch up paint? Airbrush it on?

    that looks like a pretty big piece to have chipped off. How did it happen? Im wondering if there is an issue with the paint/primer for it to chip off that bad.

    Two loops around the block with seats and an interior. It's been 1 year since I first tried this with just an engine and "frame" . It's good to be back in that seat again after 40+ years!

    I got the 28 oz weight cut off of my JW Wheel flexplate so it can be used for the internally balanced new rotating assembly. It actually went a lot smoother than I had anticipated. Me, cutting/grinding tools, and expensive parts don't always end up well lol. I used a carbide burr on the welds at first, then switched to a cut off wheel on a die grinder, then used a wedge to pry it off when it was close. Touch up with the grinder to knock down where the previous welds were and a quick coat of paint, and it's good to head to the machine shop for balancing next week.

    I wasn't convinced when several people told me to just remove the weight instead of buying a new flex plate, so I called mu buddy who is going to do the balancing...he said yep, that'll work just fine. So, of it came lol. Finally, something that didnt' cost me anything to get ready :).

    Drove mine again after replacing the less than a year old fuel pump.
