Ok guys. I am feeling the waters. I am at a point of asking if there is anyone who would be willing to help me put one or both my cars back together. There is quite a bit to do and I desperately need the help. I have just about everything needed and can get what ever is lacking as far as what can be gotten at OReiley.
I am located in Marietta, Oklahoma. I can either set you up in a hotel here or our spare bed room. I am thinking maybe two or three days would get me to either back together or close enough for me to finish.
Is there anyone who can do this? PM me if your interested and we can discuss what it would require and whether or not I can do it. I do have tools. What I lack is motivation and memory as to how it all goes back together. I could figure it out but I would like this done faster than I have patience to research.

The drive train needs to be moved from one to the other. Will need a different oil pan to fit. I just ordered one but failed to order a pick up tube and screen.
The one I think will come together faster is the 72. It still has all the panels and almost all the interior in it. No seats but have some I can use. Steering column is out.
needs front bumper and brackets put back on.
The brakes need some re assembly as the diff is out. Fronts are new on a new MII suspension so will need hoses (I have) and bleeding etc.

My 73 is really torn apart. Headliner and glass and entire interior. I have all of it. I also have a vinyl top.
If it had a panel it is off. This car can stay apart as far as the front end since it will also get a MII suspension.
It's in black epoxy that is not been sanded and does need minor body work. But i'm not gonna worry about that anymore. I just want it back together.
Thanks for the willingness to help. PM me what it will take and when you are thinking.

    Gene,
Let me talk with the wife and see if there is any way I can get away for a couple of days to help you. I am in the middle of my build also so time is of the essence. I am trying to move to Oregon in the next 2 months so again Time is short. But for you I will try to make some time.
PM me your phone #, The phone I had your number in went swimmin with the fishes in about 40 feet of salt water.
    I will let you know.
Also, if there are any parts you need to finish I could bring them with me.

My car has been apart for 2 years and it is amazing (scary) what one forgets, especially when you are not a spring chicken anymore. In addition to another set of hands, a complete, serviceable Maverick or Comet sitting in the driveway helps immensely. Wish I had one to reference.

After speaking to several members here I have decided to make an honest attempt at doing it with my wife along my side. We have cleared our weekend to do this and see where we are at when the dust settles. We both know it will likely take a few weekends and will make changes in our busy lives to spend the time it will take. Unless it's determined that it is still too much to handle.
Thanks for the offers and I will be in contact with you guys later if I need to and see who's still available.
