For those of you who have cages, who makes the best fitting model? I'm wanting a 10 point, but I don't want to go through my dash. I want to come down just in front of my dash. Is this possible? I thought about building one, but I believe I'd be time ahead by buying one. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Competition Engineering & Chris Alston also make cages for our cars, you can cut the tubes shorter to make them drop in front of the dash.

If you want front bars to go in just behind the dash you will have to get something custom bent..... I doubt you will find anything in a kit that fits properly...... On a side note if you get truly close to the dash and door you window crank handle will have to be very short to work without opening the door to use it..... I elected to go the power window route on my car.....

What brand is that? I like the way it's bent. That's what I'm wanting... I've looked at all of those brands mentioned, but I didn't know if one fit better than another. I'd just feel better with a cage... And I think this 331 I'm building will make one necessary at the track. But I'll be on the street most of the time. Some of us are working with local officials to open our small airport up to drag racing on Saturdays... It's 2hrs+ to the closest track...

Like I said, you will need to have one custom bent to get that kind of fit..... The one in my car was done at a local chassis shop some guys I know own.....

Oh, I misunderstood. I thought you meant that those front bars would have to be custom bent.
