Finished the install of a fresh 347 with just enough time to pull the Mav out of the garage and load it on the trailer, and head to the track. Missed the first TT session by the time I got there. Pulled it off the trailer and put the timing light on it but it was too sunny out and could not see a darn thing. Ended up just advancing the distributor till the idle started to pick up and called it good.
Previous best was 9.04 at 76.4 mph in the 1/8.
first TT pas netted a 7.68 at 94.3 mph spinning the slicks through most of 1 gear.
made it to the 4th round and broke out by .0079 running a 7.5921 at 93.70 on a 7.60 dial
The last pass was the best pass.

Well, going from a tired 289 to a fresh 347 probably helped a little.

What's the engine combo? It's making good power with that mph.

With that mph it might go 7.00's. Mine went 7.19 at 92. That's a nice combo.

7.68@94mph is getting pretty fast. You know that the hardest thing to do is break 7:00 and stay in the 6:90s. Good job.
