How to remove the turn signal cam

    I am trying to remove the turn signal from my steering column. I removed the three screws, then the turn signal lever. The turn signal module does not want to pull out am I missing something? This is for a 73 if that matters.

    Most of the time you cannot get the wiring harness out of the steering column without either removing the plug or taking the column apart. There is also a harness retainer on the bottom side of the column you have to disconnect.

    It would help to unplug it on the other end.

    ...wow should have looked at it more. So unplug the harness from the bottom and it should then pull out?

    The plug is also clipped onto a metal support bracket. Need to get it off of that as well.

    Tape a wire to it and gently feed it through, would be easier if you taped the wire to the old one when you pull it out
