HI everybody. I'm buying some 14 inch slot wheels for my 73 comet. They are 14x6 front and 14x10 rear. What is the biggest tires I can put on those wheels? My car is stock and all drum brakes. Thank you.

I would pass on the 14 x 10 wheels. In my opinion, you will never get those to fit.

The guy that has them said they came off his maverick? I didnt see them on it. Why do you think that they won't fit?

Mine has 10s on the back, they'll hit the fender wells, mine do.

They may have been on a Maverick, but how did they fit?

How do you solve it....but rims that FIT. I would say 8" is as wide as you will want to go on the rear.

Plus the correct backspacing, 4.25 or 4.50 inches.
