will 275/60-15 on 10" rims fit my 73 Comet

    Wondering if 275/60-15 tires on 10" wheels will fit on rear of my 73 Comet with stock 8" rear, need to know what backspace I would need for the 10" wheel

    they will "fit', they will rub. my 275/60/15s on 8" rims didn't.

    What 71gold said is correct. Backspacing for the 8" wheel with the 275 tire should be 4.50". I run an 8" wheel with 255/60-15 tires with a back spacing of 4.25". No rubbing.
