thread is a little old, i know; but i was curious if you ended up doing it?got any photos?

I was planning on doing something similar to my 4 door. putting the econoline leaf springs on the rear maybe some small spacers up front, but im not really sure on the wheels and tires

It's not as lifted as I would like. about 1.5-2" higher than stock but 3-4" higher than what It was at previously. My dream is to tube it, link it and put long arms up front but that'll take a lot of cad for me to do it right! It handles my 12 mile dirt driveway like a dream now. Shaved a solid 10 minutes off the drive as i can roll through all the bumps and snow! I have General Grabber AT 2 27x8.5R14LT up front and LT215/75R15 in the rear.

I also discovered that my front bumper was/is bent from the previous driver so I'm taking that as a sign to get my plasma table working again and fab up a tube bumper so I can mount some LEDs up front, I just can't seem to find my tube bender anywhere. I'm also planing on fabing up some extra bracing throughout before I dive into the deep end with this project.

    Being an engineer sucks sometimes.

    damn that looks perty nice

so instead of using a truck chassis my buddy wants to build a long travel suspension as practice for when he builds up his future Trophy truck

so its gonna end up becoming a mad max/PreRunner
almost have enough saved up to get started i just need to help get some necessary tools and pay for the materials
