I had a 347 built, has 430 hp on a engine stand dyno. I am getting ready to work on fuel system, What for fuel pressure do I need to carry ? going electric . also noticed the car had a line running the trans tunnel that I guess was a return or vent tube, where would this line connect if it is even needed.

Sooo if it's carbed why an electric pump with all the additional filters, regulator, etc? A simple mechanical pump will fill your needs.

run a stock type mechanical pump with 3/8 line from tank to pump, -6 line to regulator -6 line to carb. The carb is an 850 preform out of the box settings, feeding a RPM Air gap on top of a 347. ran a best of 6.86 @ 101 mph.

if youre not running high hp I would recommend the mechanical I recently did an electric pump and DAMN is it noisy I can practically here it over my exhaust when running and its way back under the 1/4 panel. its a holley red pump
just FYI I wouldnt recommend for a daily or street cruiser
