Soon you will be able to purchase a new shifter boot for the manual transmission.
Thanks goes to Dan Hines for loaning to me an NOS boot to send to Dennis Carpenter for reproduction. The new boot will cover the T5 shift mechanisms as well and give the interior a stock look. Soon you can ditch the square boots and have the OEM look!

Cool! It's awesome that you've been able to help bring these parts to market to support the hobby. How about seeing if they will reproduce the rubber grommets for the windshield wiper post. Would love to have some of those. - Matt

Shifter boots are up on eBay, just search for d1dz-7277a.

    (y) That's awesome! Was there any interest in reproducing the plastic trim piece around the shift boot, too?

I am pretty sure they are working on the plastic trim piece as well.

The grommets are now "in the works"... timeframe until release is unknown, but hopefully soon. They will be sold in pairs even though Ford only put one on per vehicle.
