new extrerior door handles?

I purchased the chrome ones from The Ring Bros. They are beautifuly constructed and with very high quality.

I baught mine because I liked them. Are they "one off"...no, but really, how many on another Maverick or Mustang will I run into at a show. Where I live I very rarely see other Mavericks. So to me, they will be like having a one off item that no one else has.

Are they expensive? Yes, especially compared to the factory replacement handles that are available. But considering how much I already have invested in my car, another couple hundred $$ isn't really going to affect me much.

The bottom line is... to each his own. If you can afforn them, and more importantly justify the cost of them in your head. Then they are a great value. If not, then they might seem to be really a crazy item to spend that much for door handles.

That's the great thing about our hobby as a whole. Whatever each of us likes and can justify is what works. Otherwise we would all have cookie cutter cars, all of them exactly the same. Wouldn't that be boring. I know, and have been told even, that there are guys on here that don't like what I am doing to my car. That's cool, I am buiding it for me not for anyone else. It's my vision. We all need to do what we like and can spend/justify.
