I am using a Walker kit to rebuild my YF Carter carb off a '72 200ci. My question is setting the float. Here are the instructions.... I am not sure what to do from here. It seems really high. The chart on the extra page from the carb kit says "dry float level is 3/8in ". This is what my float looks like now. Any advice or guidance?
Well I figured that part out. I had the needle in upside down, so that is adjusted now. Now trying to figure out how to adjust the auto choke
Bend the float tab so that the float is parallel to the housing with the seat in the closed position (fig. 1). Then bend the stop tab to proper depth to get the 1.25” gap between float and housing with the seat in the open position (fig. 2).
