Worked on the '70 and pulled the "project" AOD the previous owner had started to put in, and installed a C4. It's a pan-fill out of a van. Since I had pulled the 250 engine out to fit up the C4, I had also installed the dipstick tube before putting it all back in the car. Was a PITA to get the engine/tranny combo to slide back in as it kept hitting the firewall until I got everything lined up, but clearance is fine now that all the mounts are back in. And finally, no flattened out piece of pipe bolted through the floor boards as a tranny cross member.

Been so long since I actually laid eyes on it had to pull the car cover off just to make sure it's even still under there. Still buying and collecting parts for the days when I'll have time and energy to start working on it.

Also stopped welding on my RHS heads since it's just too damned expensive and time consuming for the power gained and bit the bullet on a set of Trick Flow 170cc 11R heads to help ease my suffering. Really bad ass head design but still.. must.. fight.. urge.. to.. improve.. them. :dizzy:

Removed the 4-lug rear and springs. One spring was sagging. Now have to figure out which of my used springs is good before they go back on. (The rear is posted for sale in the classified section)
