Hey guys. It's been a bit, but I'm picking away at the Maverick again and I haven't looked into the parts market in years. Does anyone offer a decent re-pro of the Grabber spoiler and extensions yet? It wasn't MaverickMan's products, but I do remember a company, back-in-the-day, that had terrible reviews about their fiberglass spoiler and extensions. People were saying the fit-up was complete garbage and not to buy from them.

I know there are steel re-pro Grabber hoods being made, but I'm just wondering what's become available, if anything, for the back half of the car.

    Thanks all.

Just for the record .. I bought a set from Maverick Man when he first offered them .. They were so thin you could
almost SEE through Them ..I managed to put them onto a car after reworking the bolt set up for the End Pieces and had it painted and after the car sat in the sun fora short time .. The spoiler rippled and had ' waves ' in it .. I still have it hanging on my wall as a "reminder' .. I found a REAL SET after awhile and they are STILL on the car in good shape. He MAY make a decent HOOD .. but I bought MINE from DYNACORN along with the Scoops and it fit Perfect.

Interesting... could that issue with Maverick Man's products just be the result of an initial run? Has the quality improved any since your experience or have there been others with the same complaint? It's sad to hear about things like this, but reasonably speaking, I'd only hold it against a person/company if they did not rectify the issue.

Does anyone else make Grabber spoiler products?

    Hi Silver:
I'm not holding ANYTHING against this guy .. I still have the product of his ' early endeavors ' with this item .. hanging on my shop wall . After it ' warped ' I searched for another STOCK setup and finally found one .. Bought it,
Prepped it .. and Installed it on my Grabber . Looked Great .. I didn't have time for a back and forth about an item that was obviously problematic for him. I don't know how many of those he sold .. Or if anyone out there has had a similar issue . No one else is commenting on the forum so far .. but it's early . : ) ...

I had the spoiler that he made and had no issues with it, its not like he is making them himself he was just the backing for who ever he had make them and I am sure he never saw each one that was produced to check for quality control. Getting one from him would be more of a problem that the spoiler itself. I know he had gotten into having items made for late model GTOs .

I have not seen him on this site in quite awhile but he does have his own website www.maverickman.com

Thanks for the "heads-up" guys. I haven't been on the forum in a while either, so I'm going to have to get reacquainted with who all is still kicking around. I'm assuming that purchasing the spoiler parts from other private sellers is still the best way to source these. Would that be an accurate statement?

Spoilers seem to be real hard to find anymore. This site Craigslist and ebay are your best bet. Facebook might be an option but I dont know as I dont do Facebook.

If somebody was to start producing them again I think they would fare pretty well , the quarter extensions would be harder to make than the spoiler
