I know it's not a trany question, but it's still the drive line and I'm not sure how to proceed so I hope someone can give me direction. I want to change the oil in my rear diff . It's a 2.73 with a solid (no bolted cover) back end. What is the best way to get the old oil out. New stuff is easy, in the fill hole.

    Thanks

may take a few minutes but you could double nut a couple of the bottom case studs and back them out. take the filler plug loose so it can breath...

Assuming the vent line isn't plugged, it will breath.
