1969 Mustang Shelby Chin Spoiler on a Maverick

I like the angle.

 

How much did you pay for it, and where did you get it? I kinda dig it!!!!

 

I have a new Tony Branda 69-70 boss mustang plastic spoiler, never installed, out of plastic wrap. I am not fond of it. Was thinking about using it, if anyone is interested in it, let me know.

 

I see no way of it really fitting a Maverick/Comet.

Installed Craigs suggestion for front spoiler

Purchased thru Tony Branda mustang parts at ohio swap meet. Price 89.00

It took two people, and a hoist to center it up just right.

 

Question for you guys! I just got a Dynacorn front valence and the Cobranda fiberglass spoiler. Mocking them up with no fasteners there are large gaps to the left and right of the center. Did you guys "pull" them in with fasteners? I'm not very familiar with fiberglass and I don't wish to break it. Any insight would be helpful, thank you!

 

Start in the center and work your way out slowly. It will close the gaps and fits great.

 

It all depends on the "angle" you mount it at as well. See my pictures on the first post.

 

What year does this fit Craig? As you know I have a 77 but it has a 73 valance I believe. Did they all have the same contour? I know the opening was different, but not sure of the shape. I also like this spoiler, my buddy has one on a 69 Mach 1.

 

I have been told that this spoiler does not fit the 1973 front valence as the valence is curved a little differently in the area where the chin spoiler attaches.

 

I found out the hard way that the '73 front valance is a different shape in the center from the '70-'72 valance. The front spoiler in question does not fit the '73 (unless of course you have mad fabrication skills)...
