I ordered and installed the Goodyear, now Continental 62384 suggested in the Micah’s post below. The problem, as you can see in the photos, is the hose rests on top of the alternator ear, albeit barely. Is this the best I can hope for, or are there other hose suggestions? Photos installed would be great.

Looks like the correct hose; the alt. is much higher than stock location. I don't think it will be an issue.

Good deal, not sure if I can do much to adjust the height of the alternator without changing the bracket, but there may be some adjustability, I will check tonight. It’s more bothersome to me aesthetically.

Looks like moving the adjustment rod to the next bolt toward pass side and longer belt may solve the issue.

I will look into that, thanks mojo!

Actually a shorter belt leaving everything else as is may be be the easier solution.

Interesting. I think I’m following you. No way to rotate the bracket btw.

A shorter belt will not improve aesthetically under hood appearance -- alt. will still be up higher than stock.

My issue was a little different that yours. I'm running the 5.0 serpentine. The alternator sits a little lower than yours.

I just used the old 302 brackets to keep the alternator low.
