    pulled my intske and did a little milling, filling and sanding on it. hope to get it beadblasted and painted today.

    going to Summit tomorrow and pick up some new manifold gaskets...:outtahere:

    Done the first 3 legs of power tour in the black 74 comet. Old car is mostly original mechanically (and worn out), but made the trip!

    yes... the owner of the shop is on vacation.
    this is also the intake we milled 3/8" off the carb flange for [​IMG]hood clearance.

    No, they didn't show up until day 3 (Bristol ), and then they showed up pretty late after I'd left. Was kinda bummed out, not getting to meet them.

    I had one of the intake bolts to strip the threads. I noticed it was a little different than the rest when I removed it. I drilled all 5 holes and up sized the bolts in that head. will do the other head tomorrow.:smash:
