July 2019 update. It has been 13 1/2 since my last posting and also 13 1/2 years since I last drove my 1971 Maverick Grabber.
Good news, the engine still easy starts, (after typical ignition R & R) and it still purrs with its glass pack single exhaust and does not smoke. (Using fresh gas)
Paint has faded a little, but no flash rust.
Brake drums did not rust solid to shoes, and are still usable.
Interior did not get sun fried.
    No rust outs
Bad news, with my Maverick sitting so long, the usual stuff has happened.
Brakes are gone, wheel cylinders & master cylinder need R & R
Fuel tank, it was full when I parked it. Now it may be a big varnish bucket. (some of the old fuel is still liquid & nasty smelling & but is still liquid enough that my fuel pump, pumped some out.)
(I DID NOT use fuel from the fuel tank to getting it running this week.)
Tires have a 50 feet warranty now.
    Good news to somebody
I may post it for sale, sometime soon. In the for sale area.
(Until I post it for sale, it will not be for sale, so NO pm's)
Not fixed, but needs to be.
Drivers side front control arm ball joint worn out, wheel has a definite lean (but not from body damage)
(Drove it home from Los Angeles, that way,,, NO problems in handling)
Planned on doing the front disk brake modification, so I got some Granada spindles to do it with.
I bought this 1971 Maverick grabber, off a Ebay auction, that ended on the night of my 50th birthday (I thought it was karma) Current picture Maverick Picture121 edited_edited-1.jpg Hub caps are not missing, I removed them to prevent loosing them. Car is chained to the driveway, as well.

I did see some blonde chick on fb post up how she have a guy who crashed a towy. Apparently she got pulled over by cops and was questioned about the accident.
