    Hey guys,
So I recently got a replacement for a somewhat rusted filler neck on the end (right) the replacement (left) has a different screw placement than the older one. Do you have any recommendations on what to do with this? I don’t like the idea of drilling new holes into the car, but I’m not sure what to do at this point.

That's the wrong one.. Even if you drill to fit, the cap won't be correctly aligned when tightened.

One of those is a Maverick gas neck....the other one is for a Comet.

I did nor realize that they are different .

So do I have to use a Mustang filler neck on my Comet to run a Mustang gas cap?

I honestly had no idea that there was a difference between the two. Any idea where I can find another maverick filler neck?
