    is this for...EFI?
if so I use the corvette fuel filter with the built in regulator (1999 corvette) they are set at 58 psi. no up front return line needed.
my Atomic EFI said not to use a vapor line for a return. something about the fuel needs to return under the fuel level and not sprayed on top of it.

Any pictures that you can show. Currently doing the msd sending unit mod but not sure Where to put return line location either to tank or sending unit cap.

I set up my '74 Maverick with a Supercharger and needed a return for the boost ref'd regulator. I considered using the vapor return but isn't built for any pressure. I plumbed a 3/8 return line following feed from tank and use the filler tube in trunk to add retun port.

    have fun

Nope. There is just enough of a gap to run the lines through.

The advantage of keeping the vent line allows you to easily fill the tank without fuel backing up the filler tube.
