I haven’t looked, or posted on here forever. But it’s hard to contain my excitement....I’ve found my “Holy Grail” Maverick. It should be on its way to me shortly, with the help of some awesome maverick/comet guys. I can’t thank Doug Bauer enough, with all he’s done (and still doing) for me, and Shawn Simpson for allowing me to ship a rusty heap to his house.

It's great when you find something you've been looking for for a long time. Glad you and Doug could put a deal together. I know it'll be a sweet car when you are done. It's good to see you back on the forums, been too long.

Factory triple Black 74 Grabber. 302/3speed with A/C . One of 34 according to the Marti Report. There was a car like this posted on here years ago, so this is the second one I’ve seen. CAE22B18-3B1C-4184-AF9C-865F22F61B08.jpeg Fa

I had almost the twin to it but mine was a 75 Grabber 302 3 speed but no AC or vinyl top it was 1 of 31. I named the car Oreo like an idiot I ended up selling the car to make ends meet on the 72 I still own. I have owned as lot of Mavericks and this one was one that I should have kept. I had the pics of it on photobucket but somehow they disappeared.

Good score for you Dave it will be stunning when you are done with it

I’ll have to see how it comes along...I’m not one for 100% restored cars, I like them to be a little more convenient.
