    Before I can cut out the towers, I thought I should repair the aprons first. Used Joe’s apron repair kit to get them 90% there. Just need to finish around the hinge mount areas.

    No going back. Towers removed, body leveled up.

    MII mocked up and measured. Fits great. Then tacked in place. It was a fun day off!

    Very nice!!!! So do you have to keep that original cross member in when you go to a Mustang II suspension?

    I think technically you can remove the original strut rod support once the MII is installed. I’m going to leave it unless it gets in the way.

    I'd leave it too, I use it to jack the front of the car up.

    Looks like it fits very nicely. Honestly the quality appears fantastic and that seems to be one of the best priced kits around.

    Measure, measure again, check square, check level, measure again. Hats and crossmember tacked in place. Next is finish welding everything in place.
