I suppose I'll order this fuel pump to hopefully not have to endure the cheap ass one I've went through from Spector this last year.

Any issues or positives about this unit? Will be a 302 in a 70 Maverick

I've used this on my 65 Mustang in the past and will again put it on my 73 Comet, once it is put back together! Nice thing with this pump, you can rotate the bottom bowl so port will line up with your fuel line........

Cool. I'm only used to the stock pump fittings. So will the factory fuel line screw straight in or do I need to order extra fittings?

The Holley pump ports are 3/8" NPT and I think the stock Ford fuel line from pump to carb is 5/16" uses 1/4" NPT? So you would have to purchase an adapter fitting 1/4 NPT female to 3/8 NPT male. If your fuel line is 3/8", it should have the correct 3/8" NPT. Also you would have to purchase one 3/8" NPT male to either 5/16" or 3/8" barb (depending on what ID fuel hose) fitting, for fuel hose to Holley pump.
If you look around you should find Holley 12-289-11 pump for under $100 including free shipping.......

I use a Holley manual fuel pump, 80gph, and have had no problems or troubles with it.

Earl, do your arms get tired with that manual pump?
(JK, everyone knows you meant "mechanical", I couldn't resist)

:beerchug:Yes, because I have manual steering also, and my knees too: you guessed it, manual brakes. But, the fuel pump really does work!!
