Thank you , you got to remember the rear center spoiler isn’t fiberglass !! Is a SMC , Sheet Molded Compound and you can’t not repair this with fiberglass cloth or resin , you need the correct glue for this follow the instructions in the glue and that will do the trick , hope this help for any one that needs to repair they spoiler

I went for a drive out to the countryside to bid a house re-paint. The potential costumer said, "What do you got in the Pinto?" LOL....at least he didnt call it a vega. I didnt correct him either....something about being at his house and trying to get hired? heheheheh. Ran great though.

The poor car had been through the wringer more than once. It had a 68 Mustang front clip (Sporting a 390 at one point) & floor pans, 70 Maverick rear clip with Comet tail panel. I think the only original Comet part left on it was the dash with vin tag.
Left front frame rail & cowl rusted beyond repair, floor has more bad patch work than a blind woman’s quilt, quarter panels have enough bondo for a dozen cars.

We towed it home using a dolly and I would have bet my last dollar it was going to break in half on the way!!
The 72 & my 75 (90-95% rust free) were purchased together as parts cars, I’m rescuing the 75(y)
