    Replaced the floats on my edelbrock. First time doing it while the carb was still on the car. Put it all back together and she ran great!

    Had gotten new back wheels to mount slicks on I’d have a street set and a track set for autocross. Now have matching wheels for both sets !! Got slicks on new wheels today and test fit . New backs are 18 x 11 with 7 inch bs.     The air conditioning is finally working on my 1973 Ford Maverick. More pressing safety and reliability issues were addressed first, but now the factory air blows cold again.

    By watching a ton of YouTube videos and making every conceivable mistake at least once, I figured out how to do it myself. I also discovered the sum total of my working knowledge of air conditioning systems at the start of the project was about equal to that of an average golden retriever.

    Most everything firewall aft was reused; forward, most everything replaced. I had to fabricate things. I’m pleased it works, but if I had to do it over again, I’d do it differently (better, cleaner).
    I’m planning to do a write up. It will probably be titled, “AC: For Heaven’s Sake, Don’t Do What I Did!”

    Installed radiator hoses, vacuum lines, distributor cap, rotor, plugs, wires, pcv valve, coil, radiator cap, fuel pump and throttle bracket.

    Looks like you replaced compressor w/ Sanden unit? Condensor, hoses, rec/dryer & expansion valve new?

    Thanks !!! Finally got matching track wheels
    Two seasons ago wanted to run Hoosiers on track so got the fronts in a size I needed ( 18 x 8 with 5 in backspace) couldn’t get matches for back in big enough size so ran non matching wheels. Finally was able to get matching wheels in a size I needed ! Wheels are a Rocket brand wheel

    I went for a :chirp:on the freeway and tossed my alternator belt. Been trying to get it shimmed for perfect alignment since recent motor swap included a new style Alt bracket. I know for a fact that my Alt light works!

    took a 60 mile...:drive:...:chirp:
    engine temp 179-181 degrees... fan never came on...:thumbs2:

    was that stop n go mixed with non stop driving. Mine heats up with stop signs n lights my electric fans cools it quick when I turn them on . Georgia hot n humid weather.
    What temp thermostat you run ??
