I have a question for you. I have a 5.0 efi engine. but I have a stock differential in my car. (6 cylinder differential) do you think it will be a problem?

Welcome to the forum form northeast Illinois!:Welcome:
I would say, depends on how you drive it. If your going to drive it really hard; my guess, you will have issues down the road...

WoW, that's going to be nice!! Welcome to board!!

If you're saying 6 cyl diff with with rear cover, it'll not stand much abuse. Will probably live with full throttle once car is rolling, but burn outs, hard gear changes, etc are off limits..

That is a beautiful car! Welcome from Portland, Or. If that rear is 5 lug, isnt it an 8" ?

    Hello from Colorado.
Yes, I noticed the 5 lug fronts as well.

If that's an 8" (3rd member housing/aka no inspection cover) you should already be set. Unless you plan to throw some real power down. Then I would upgrade to a 9" or at least an 8.8". And might as well go posi.

Hello from Nevada. If you have 4 lug axels with adaptors the 9" drum brakes aren't going to stop you very fast. As for the center section. If it is a drop out 8 inch as long as you are not going to run slicks you should be fine. If the axels are four lugs, that is what fox bodies came with and unless they were severely abused the didn't sheer off too often.
