the spacer was cut from a 1.25" flat bar. the extra 1/4" was welded on for a gusset...pedal arm is 14" now.
also moved the pin for the M/C rod up 1/4"... now it's 2".
it was extended to increase pedal ratio. it went from a 6:1 to 7:1 ratio, still plenty of pedal to floor clearance.

How is the pedal feel, does it perform the way you hoped it would?

Started stripping down a 71 parts car. I have had some bad ones in the past but I think this one takes the cake. She was rusty!! Not a solid piece of floor board in the car. Every where that seems solid is a patch over rust. E07BD150-21DC-4725-B9C8-BE694946726F.jpeg 16F08F45-3870-4E07-B128-BCEF7B463581.jpeg

yes...it was worth the effort to extend the pedal arm.

called Dakota Digital about a temp. sensor situation. the Guy told me he would have one out over night the next day...no charge.
I had sent the gauges in for a ribbon situation that was a fault of my on. they replaced the ribbon...no charge.
they even paid the shipping both ways.
these Guys are great in the service department...:thumbs2:

called Holley about a fuel sending situation, again a fault of my on.
they don't sell a replacement for the part I needed. I asked what other course did I have other than buying another $$350 unit. he said give him a minute to check on something, 3 mins. later he was back.
when he got back he said they had a spare unit that one of the techs had taken a part out of and sent to another customer. the part I needed was in the box so he said it would be sent over night ...no charge.
that's the way a service department should be ran.
    two thumbs up to them...:thumbs2:

Since the covid has caused our schoolkids to stay home, i had the luxury of using the trade school automechanics garage to change the rear gear in my Maverick. Removed the stock 3.00 ratio and installed a 3.40 gear. That warm garage and lift sure made the job much easier!

How tall is your tire, and what do you think of the 3.40? Or have you been able to drive enough to form an opinion?
