Awsome pics!!! Thank you for posting em up...Really sheds some light on the car...Fiberglass front fenders (No side markers) bigger front wheel arches too for tire clearance. Relocated rear leafs (Pushed inboard) Definitely a 427 cammer in it, in the hood off pic with Randy Payne holding a speed wrench. Paint really looks like Guardsman blue too as opposed to Acapulco blue...:urock:

That car on the trailer looks like it could very well be the original. The good stuff is missing too like the fiberglass doors/frt clip and deck lid. I would love to see a pic of the engine compartment to see what was done to the towers too. Pretty sure the engines sat on the factory mounts and not elephant ears as well. ( Don't think the rules allowed motor plates in 70' for that class) Too cool either way man!!!

Yes, I didn’t post the picture of the block. I can share I have more pictures that showed the engine compartment, interior and a few other shots. I’ll keep looking.

Ok, I knew I could find it. Originally in Muscle Car Review October 2013. Here's the pics, none of the interior, but trunk and engine compartment pics including the motor parts. I would say it could definitely be the original test mule. Too many clues. See if I can attach the article if not, send me an pm and I can email it. Might reach out to the guy and ask for some better photos or if he has been able to determine whose car it was. - Matt Maverick 1.png Maverick 2.png Maverick 3.png Maverick 4.png Maverick 5.png Maverick 6.png

Got my aluminum wheels in from Dancing Bear Scale Components today. Couldn't be happier about them either. Just WOW!!!! A quick mock up with these.
