What are the difference between 70-74 window regulators and the later ones?
I found a electric window kit for 70-74 and was curious if there is a way to use it on my 75.
    Thanks,

    Curt

the difference may be the crash bar in the door.

The holes in the glass for the glass retainer rivets are different location, The lift channel is different, regulator bolt pattern to mount the regulator to the door is different location and the metal texture on the later doors are different.

    Thanks!
Does anyone have a pic showing the differences?

I’m tempted to order the nu-relics kit to see if I can make it work.

The blue door is the early regulator. Notice the support arm bolt location in the corner of the opening compared to the support arm bolt in the middle of the opening on the late black door. By looking at the photos now...it looks like the late door is drilled to accept the early regulator, but I'm not saying it will swap, just saying "might" swap out.

The early regulator bolted in to the door. The later regulator was riveted in.

I think this is a '75 door...if I remember correctly. The '77 door came with smooth metal finish on the inside were the 70-76 came with a texture stamped metal finish.
