My 71 has factory pedal and z bar for the old 3speed manual. It also has a BW T5 in it which the former owner used old model clutch fork to work with the factory zbar set up. I want to convert to a full hydraulic set up including throw out bearing for hydraulic. Do I need to change my pedal assembly ? Also, where does the clutch slave mount and does it get in the way of headers? Note- I am also changing to a tremec 5speed and it will come with the proper bell housing and throw out bearing.

I used a Rosehill slave kit and a Wilwood master cylinder. Did my master on my own, modified my pedal for proper travel to match the master. Also cut and raised the tunnel an inch to maintain factory engine/trans angle and made my own cross member.

Hadn't seen that clutch master set up, not sure how I missed it. Too late now! All I did on mine was add a little material and drill a new hole so I didn't bottom out the master at half the travel of the pedal. Thought I took pictures of it but looks like I thought wrong.
