Scored a set of these genuine vintage American Racing slotted mags at Carlisle for just $80. No damage and they are polishing up very nicely. Should look cool on the green machine. Just waiting now for the valve stems and new center caps to arrive.
Hard to tell if they're 14" or 15". Most 14" are not popular anymore but with correct tires look awesome. 15" give better selection of tires. 'Parts' Comet GT had traditional Cragars I used on the '74 Maverick until a set of AR type sold locally . With 'new trad' TA's I like the period 14's with the big bumpers... . ..
Here's a before & after pix. It looks even better in direct light. I use Flitz and Flitz Ball for the drill. I swear by that product and have fixed many things with it. Nothing I have ever used compares.
It looks like the center bore is big enough for a disc brake car, I know you are very intelligent so you probably know about that already. I really like the looks of them and currently have them on one car but they are the ones that have the groove in them that is painted black. I use a product called heavy metal comes in 3 different grits and has the same effect as yours. I figure an hour plus per wheel to polish them up
They are. I had changed the rotors and the old ones were still around so it was easy to fit them but I did already figure they fit.
